View of StudioThe first session at ShapeShifters Personal Training consists of an evaluation. You will sit down with your trainer to discuss your medical history, lifestyle and goals. Body fat will be analyzed; girth measurements will be recorded as well as blood pressure and resting pulse. A cardiovascular test designed to measure heart rate recovery will be performed. The trainer will also administer tests to determine muscular endurance and flexibility. Finally, posture will be examined to note any imbalances in the body. A food log, in which you are asked to record what, when and why food is eaten throughout a typical week is assigned. With the results of the evaluation, your trainer will design a workout tailored to your goals. Your food log will aid your trainer in determining if changes in your nutrition should be recommended.
